Are you deaf or hard of hearing and need help with energy bills, forms, or saving energy? The Royal Association for Deaf people is here to support you.


  • Free energy advice in BSL

  • 1:1 and group support

  • Remote & face-to-face options available


Remote BSL Energy Advice Sessions

Every Wednesday, 10am–4pm get support from home via video call. You can get help with:

• Energy-related forms

• Translating English information into BSL

• Grants, discounts & Priority Service Register

• Practical energy-saving tips


Drop-In BSL Energy Advice Sessions

  • Derby – Every Friday, 10am–1pm at Padley at YMCA Derbyshire, DE1 1LY

  • Chesterfield – Every Tuesday, 10am–1pm at Loundsley Green Community Centre, S40 4QU
