We are pleased to share that funding has been secured from the NHS Derby and Derbyshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) through the Access and Inequality (A&I) funding initiative to continue and further develop the Derby Health Inequalities Partnership (DHIP) Vaccination Grant programme.

This wave of the Vaccination Grant programme will support small community organisations to promote and improve understanding of vaccinations, with a mandatory focus on COVID-19, Flu, and RSV, among communities that are often underrepresented.

The programme aims to address inequalities in vaccine uptake by supporting community-led activities that build trust, tackle misinformation, remove barriers to access, and empower local voices. The goal is to increase vaccine confidence, enhance health literacy and ensure more equitable access to vital vaccinations across Derby City.

Funding available:

Grants are available for a maximum of £3,000 per organisation.

Funds must cover all costs associated with the project.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Open to voluntary sector organisations that meet the charitable objectives of the programme.

  • Organisations must have a maximum turnover of £100,000. Priority will be given to those with a turnover under £50,000.

  • Groups interested in ‘scaling up’ their current provision to reduce health inequalities are encouraged to apply.
