The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) is hosting this workshop about improving local sexual health through prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Some populations in our local communities are more at risk of STIs and this is often due to perceived and real experiences of barriers to accessing services providing STI testing, support and advice.
UKHSA is keen to get your input about local challenges and ways forward to benefit communities you work with.
Please email Mary Hague or Bernie Brown to book your place:
Further details will then be sent to you.
Local populations who may have a higher risk of poor sexual health outcomes may include:
Gay, Bisexual and men who have sex with men (GBMSM)
Ethnic minority communities
Young people - under 25s
Communities living in areas of higher deprivation and those who feel marginalised
People with disabilities
Drug and alcohol users
People at risk - homelessness, sex workers, vulnerable individuals.
